Ingredients

  • 1 tsp kava root powder Stress-relieving, promotes relaxation
  • ½ tsp Dried hibiscus flowers Cooling, supports heart health
  • ½ tsp Freshly grated ginger Aids digestion, and warming
  • 1 tsp Unsweetened coconut flakes Adds a creamy, tropical note
  • 1 Cup Hot water Not boiling, around 175°F / 80°C
  • 1 tsp Honey or coconut nectar Optional, for sweetness

Instructions

Prepare Your Ingredients

  • Start by measuring out your herbs and spices. If you’re using whole kava root, grind it into a fine powder for better infusion.

Steep the Herbs

  • Heat your water until just below boiling (about 175°F / 80°C) to avoid damaging the beneficial compounds in kava root.
  • Pour the hot water over the herbs and let them steep for 10-15 minutes.

Strain & Sweeten

  • Use a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the herbal bits.
  • If desired, add a touch of honey or coconut nectar to enhance the natural sweetness.

Sip & Unwind

  • Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and let each sip transport you to a tranquil Polynesian beach. 🍵🌊
